Food Waste Collection Service
We offer a sustainable food-waste collection service for businesses in Frome. Our service includes twice-weekly collections on Wednesdays and Fridays, using an electric trike from Cycles Maximus.
All collected waste is transported to our main hub at Victoria Park, where it's processed using a Ridan composting system and allowed to mature. Once fully composted, our living compost is returned to the community, enriching and regenerating local soil.

Spore: Our Smallest Package
The Spore package is designed for businesses with lower food waste volumes, such as offices, co-working spaces, or retail shops. With this option, you’ll receive a collection every other week, along with one 30L bucket for waste storage.
This package is perfect for non-food-based businesses looking to dispose of their waste sustainably.
Price: £20 per calendar month

Fungi: Modest but Admirable
The Fungi package provides one collection per week and includes up to three 30L buckets. This option is perfect for small food-based businesses or larger office spaces with moderate waste.
Price: £40 per calendar month

Soil: The Grand Finale
The Soil package offers the ultimate service, with two collections per week and up to six 30L buckets. This package is ideal for medium to large-sized food-based businesses that generate higher volumes of food waste.

We can add extra buckets at the cost of £5 each, and our on call team can also be contacted if you need an early pick up.
Healing Soil
We stop food waste leaving the town where it would have entered landfill or become ‘scorched’ (turned into nutrient deficient matter and sold as compost).
By closing Frome’s food-waste loop, we transform this resource into a living bio-complete compost. This returns nutrients back to the Earth and regenerates local soil.
